Main goal is to get more females students from MBA programs a job in finance. And build an effective mentorship program.

FFMP

Female in Finance Mentorship Program facilities mentorships between professional women in finance and MBA female students who have a passion and genuine interest in Finance.

Structured Framework

Structured framework designed to keep mentees focused on their career goals by providing workshops as well one to one session in which mentors and mentee work together on resumes, cover letters, networking and interview preparations.

Platform for mentees to build a strong professional network.

Amina Djirdeh

With extensive experience in Equity Research (Technology) and Investment Banking, Amina is passionate in increasing the number of women in finance roles.

We are currently working with Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and looking for Mentors to work with these other universities:

  • Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario
  • The Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University
  • Schulich School of Business, York University
  • The Smith School of Business, Queen's University

We're looking for mentors that are:

  • At various levels of seniority. Typically we look for females that have recently graduated between 2 and 5 years of experience in finance.
  • Commited to being available at least half an hour per week for face-to-face meetings or virtual meetings.
  • To keep mentees motivated and focused on their career goals.
